When we needed help caring for my husband at home last year, I tried to find caregivers on websites, through local agencies, and by word of mouth. In spite of putting in a lot of time, the care we received was often incompetent or unreliable, generally unsatisfactory, and a worrisome headache.
Then, to my great relief, I found CMK Home Care. Over the last year, Carmel found us 6-7 consistently qualified professionals who were highly skilled in working with my husband’s needs and personality. If ever they were unavailable, she reliably sent another visiting angel. These wonderful women have been consistently pleasant people to welcome into our house. They took care of my husband’s needs and helped me out around the house as well. I was able to keep him at home with their support. The fee for this service was worth my time many times over, and beyond my paygrade. Thank you Carmel.

I have been working with Carmel for the several months to find caregivers for my father. My father’s needs are complex and so I have specific criteria for caregivers. Carmel has been very diligent in seeking out caregivers and working with me to find the right fit of caregivers. She is quick to respond to emails, txts and phone calls and followups quickly. She also bills on a regular schedule which reassures me that caregivers are getting paid on-time. “Carmel Murphy-Kotyan was extremely responsive to my urgent request for in-home help for my elderly parents who suddenly fell ill at the same time and needed assistance with independent living. She listened carefully to my family’s concerns, showed compassion, practicality, and responsiveness. On extremely short notice, she arranged for two wonderful aides to work with my parents.
