What is the Caregiver Support Project?
Caregiver Support Project (CSP) is a local, grassroots project designed to help guide families through the difficult journey of caregiving for their aging loved ones/spouse, by offering FREE monthly educational Lunch & Learns on the third Wednesday of every month from 12noon – 1pm. Zoom links will be sent upon Sign Up.
It is fully sponsored by CMK Home Care LLC and collaborated by a group of local service providers who are leaders in their industry and are committed to serving the elderly community, their caregivers and the boomers who are ready to downsize or retire. These presenters are volunteering their time and knowledge and demonstrating their passion for giving back to our community.
Our Mission is to help build our community by recognizing Caregivers as Compassionate Heroes and unveiling HOPE for them to live a life of resilience as we fight against the adversity of emotional overwhelm, exhaustion and loneliness. As we get older, we want to continue living in our home for as long as possible. Technology is the new frontier allowing seniors to age in place. We’re seeing an explosion in technology to help seniors stay safe and healthy, moving beyond the standard emergency button pendant to a new generation of tools designed to safeguard older adults.
In this talk, we explore practical, real-world solutions that enable senior independence, while tackling the messy realities of implementation—from data privacy to tech-comfort levels.
We discuss important considerations to help seniors, caregivers, and families navigate this complex landscape.
